Prof. Agostino Gambino founded the Gambino Law Firm in 1969 and was afterwards awarded a full professorship of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law at La Sapienza University of Rome.

The firm employs approximately thirty people and has offices in Rome and Milan.

The legal practitioners have a consolidated expertise in civil and commercial law, as well as in corporate, insurance, banking, industrial, contractual and bankruptcy law and provide legal advice and judicial and extrajudicial assistance for the most important Italian private and public groups and entities. Gambino Law Firm also provides legal counselling in administrative law being legally qualified to act before a Regional Administrative Court, the Council of State and the Constitutional Court, by providing legal and extrajudicial assistance to Italian public entities of primary importance. Extrajudicial assistance is assured by single attorneys or interdisciplinary groups of attorneys according to different sectors of specialization. Gambino Law Firm, as a compounded and interactive structure, can also provide assistance in the field of international commercial law.

The Firm has assisted major Italian corporate groups in Italian and international negotiations, company reorganizations and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and in drafting commercial agreements governed by Italian and International law.

It has provided legal assistance and counselling to major corporate groups in proceedings before the Communications Regulatory Authority, the Competition and Market Authority and ISVAP (Istituto per la vigilanza sulle assicurazioni private e di interesse collettivo), the supervisory body for private insurance.
